Description
The principal author of this book wrote 23 pages of culinary recipes at the front of the volume and 33 pages of medical and household recipes toward the back. Several later writers added recipes to the back section of the book, some with dates between 1828 and 1835. The hand of the principal author closely resembles the hand of a recipe book titled
"A Collection of Remarkable Good and Useful Receipts," which is also part of the Library of Congress collection.
