Date Details
No specific date could be obtained for this artifact. Tin funnels were around throughout the nineteenth century and well into the twentieth century. However, based on the discussion of tinware in Spinning Wheels: Collectible Iron, Tin, Copper & Brass (Revi 132-135, 155) and due to the relative primitive nature of this item, meaning that it doesn't appear to be a widely manufactured factory item, an estimate of the date of this funnel would be the mid to late 1800's.
