According to 300 Years of Kitchen Collectibles (Franklin 329) & Kitchen Antiques (Johnson 70), many of these same styled measuring cups were produced in tin (and copper) throughout the 1800's, however similar brass pieces were seen quite often at the end of the 1800's and early 1900's. A very similar brass cup was observed in Kitchen Antiques (Johnson 74), that was dated approximately at the turn of the century. Hence, the liquid measuring cup noted above may also possibly date circa 1900.Kitchen Artifact ID
