Date Details
Many of the wooden juicers with porcelain inserts listed in 300 Years of Kitchen Collectibles (Franklin 42-43) are dated from the mid to late 19th century. According to 300 Years of Kitchen Collectibles, juicers composed of wood are typically the oldest but with the addition of the porcelain inserts, they are dated no earlier than the mid 19th century. This encompasses the cast iron juicers as well. For example, the juicer found at the website of the "Shed Antique Store" made of a cast iron frame with porcelain inserts, is dated 1868. Consequently, the juicer above was probably employed in the time period from the mid to late nineteenth century.
