Date Details
Many similar dough scrapers listed in 300 Years of Kitchen Collectibles (Franklin 209-210) date back to the first half of the nineteenth century into the mid 1800's. Dough scrapers were early Victorian implements, however, it should be noted that dough scrapers are still utilized today when hand-making bread. Although an exact date for the scraper noted above could not be determined, based on its simple configuration, style, and composition, it is highly likely that this one is also a nineteenth century item.
