Date Details
According to 300 Years of Kitchen Collectibles (Franklin 65), a dual cylinder grinding machine called the "Hale Meat Cutter and Stuffer" was manufactured but no further information on Hale or the date of his patent could be obtained. This device appeared in a Russell & Erwin 1865 catalog and later in one of their catalogs circa 1900. Thus, although an exact date for this object could not be determined, it is known that such a device existed as far back as 1865 and therefore it is possible that this machine was also a product of the mid 1800's.
