A specific date for such an item could not be established. However, if the funnel is made from spun aluminum, it could have been utilized as early as 1890 when many spun aluminum wares were starting to become prevalent. If the funnel is made of tin, it could have a much earlier date since tin funnels were around throughout the 19th and 20th centuries (300 Years of Kitchen Collectibles, Franklin 324).
