Description
The author of this small recipe book was Anna Bedell (born ca. 1826), whose name is stenciled on the front cover. She was a sister of Stephen T. Bedell, who kept a general store in New Baltimore, New York, a small town on the Hudson River about fifteen miles from Albany. The ink is much faded, but the book seems to comprise mostly culinary recipes. The volume is part of the library's collection of papers of the Bedell and Titus families.
