Written in a single, uncommonly beautiful hand, this cookbook of approximately 50 pages features a complete index at the front followed by 107 numbered recipes, of which about 35 are culinary and the rest medical. The culinary recipes mostly comprise puddings, dessert creams and jellies, fruit preserves, and pickled meats. They are typical of the second half of the eighteenth century
