Description

This 140-page cookbook is written in a uniform late 18th-century hand, presumably that of James Drake, whose name ("Mr. James Drake") is inscribed twice on the front paste-down endpaper. The book includes recipes for "cabbob" and "mangoo." All of the recipes are numbered consecutively, beginning with number 10. (Part of recipe 9 is visible at the top of the first page; some pages are likely missing from both the front and back of the volume.)
