1808Description
This manuscript, which is possibly in two hands, contains approximately 50 recipes, primarily for baked goods, as well as passages from "The Domestic Chaplain" by John Stanford and "The balm of Gilead, for healing a diseased land" by John Willison. The book reverses the direction of the text (front to back and back to front) several times. The date 1808 is written on the reverse of the back cover. The manuscript may have been continued after that date, but there are no indicators of later dates in the volume.
