Description

This wide-ranging collection of over 300 recipes was compiled in Great Britain, likely by a well-to-do family. A note and date are written at the front of the volume: “This book is promised to William | Dec^ber 24th 1845.” The book focuses on meat dishes, beverages, soups, and hot and cold desserts. Four of the recipes are written in French and others have French titles. There are some medical and household recipes at the end of the book, written upside-down in relation to the culinary recipes.
