Although it contains several different 17th-century hands, this 206-page book of culinary and medical recipes must at one point have been the property of Mariabella Charles, for "Mariabella Charles, her booke 1678" is inscribed on the cover. The recipes are mostly consecutively numbered, and many are attributed to various individuals.
