Description
This cookbook is written on eight full-size sheets of paper that have been roughly stitched together into a small book. It probably belonged to Anne Power Huske (1800-1875), the mother of Sarah (Huske) Robinson (1834-1912). Sarah Huske married Thomas Jefferson Robinson (1827-1879), the son of Dr. Benjamin Robinson (1776-1857), a physician, public health official, and officer of the State Bank of North Carolina. Sarah Huske Robinson's own "household book" of 1888 is currently in the archives of the Lower Cape Fear Historical Society.
