Description
This book is in two parts: an original section, in a single hand, which includes an index, and later additions, some laid in, many of which bear the recipe's source and date. The recipes are typical of the second half of the nineteenth century. Most of them concern baked goods and desserts. Among the recipes are rice coquettes, chow-chow, Delmonico pudding, cranberry pudding, Thanksgiving cake, maple ice cream, and corn muffins.
