Description
The Weston Homestead Farm Corporation Collection comprises archival material pertaining to the Weston Farm in Madison, Maine, a property of approximately 600 acres that was settled around 1786 by Dean Benjamin Weston. The collection begins with Benjamin Weston's grandson, Theodore B. Weston (1846 - 1929), and his wife Addie S. Bixby Weston (1850 - 1919). The collection includes cookbooks and other recipe material attributed to three of Addie S. Bixby Weston's sisters: Isabel "Belle" Bixby Parsons (1844 - 1912), Mary Elizabeth "Lizzie" Weston (1848 - 1901), and Hattie Nancy Weston (1857 - 1890). The collection also comprises recipe material by unknown authors. All of the cookbooks and recipe material are undated.

The Weston farmhouse, built circa 1817, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
