Description

This collection, compiled by an unknown English author between 1857 and 1873, contains a mix of culinary, household, medical, and cosmetic recipes. The culinary recipes particularly focus on puddings and cakes. There are also recipes for meat dishes, breads, custards, gelatin jellies, fruit preserves, and drinks.  Some recipes are attributed to Mrs. J. Appleby and Mrs. Langden. Two knitting patterns, one for a Turkish cushion, are also included.
