The library has determined that this English recipe book was compiled sometime in the eighteenth century. The book is written in an uncommonly tall notebook (45 centimeters, nearly 18 inches) and is organized in two sections. The first section, comprising 175 pages, contains medical recipes. The second section, comprising 119 pages, contains culinary and drink recipes, including fruit preserving, wines, and pickling.
