Description

This English recipe book, signed by Anne Mary Dutton, contains 151 pages of medical recipes written from the front of the volume, and 90 pages of culinary recipes written from the back of the volume, upside down in relation to the front. The leaves of the notebook are watermarked 1798. One leaf glued into the volume has a watermark of 1833. Two quires of recipes written in a hand other than the author's are inserted in the volume.
