Description
This American recipe book is compiled in an unusually tall, narrow notebook, measuring approximately 27 X 10 cm. (10.5 X 4 in.). The 48 unlined pages contain a mixture of handwritten food recipes and pasted-in clippings of culinary, medical, and practical household recipes. The recipes are arranged in no apparent order. One page features clipped medical recipes alongside handwritten recipes for ginger nuts, federal cake, and sugar cakes. The author of the volume is unknown.
