This small (14.9 x 9.2 cm) 62-page recipe book contains 84 recipes. Most of the recipes outline cakes and cookies, with a smaller number of recipes for savory dishes ("chopped tomatoes," "chilli sauce"). There are also several candy recipes, a common feature of late 19th century recipe books, including one for horehound. There are a few household and medical recipes.
