Description
Sarah Richardson Waln (1746-1825) married Nicholas Waln (1742-1813) in 1771. The couple had six children, three of whom lived into adulthood. Nicholas Waln was educated as a lawyer but became a Quaker clergyman after a profound religious experience in 1772. He owned an estate, Wanford, in the Northern Liberties area of Philadelphia.
