Description
Several unattributed recipe books, dated 1800-1900, are contained in Box 2, Folders 1, 2, and 3 of the John W. Lewis and Lewis P. Olds Papers at the library. Lewis was a Mississippi clergyman and farmer, Olds a North Carolina lawyer, so the books may have originated in one or both of those states. The books may have some relation to Sally Latting, of unknown address, whose 1808 schoolwork is also part of this collection.
