This 40-page book, written in at least two hands, contains culinary recipes, medical recipes, and several pages of accounts. The culinary recipes cover pickles, relishes, wines, meat, and fish. Also included is an unusual recipe for a sage tea for sunburn and a recipe to "sweeten meate that is a little tainted." The medical recipes address diverse ailments. There accounts list costs for household goods and for hackney coach travel.
