Description
This 51-page recipe book, written in at least two hands, contains a section of culinary recipes and a section of medical and household recipes. The culinary section includes recipes for potting eels, preserving meat and fish, and for a variety of pickles, sauces, soups, pies, cakes, and puddings. The book also includes a method of "keeping fleas out of apartments," veterinary remedies, and instructions for the proper use of Sir Lucas Pepys' pills.
