Description
This receipt book was compiled by a Mrs. Keyworth, of St. James Street, between circa 1790 and 1816. It contains approximately 175 culinary, medical, and household recipes. The culinary recipes include plum cake, Spanish flummery, Siberian cherries, ginger wine, and fish sauce. The 54 medical recipes address bites from mad dogs, bleeding, hooping cough, bruises, sprains, and rheumatic pains.
