This 30-page book of recipes was probably compiled by Jane Craven. It includes several loose recipes, one dated 1855 and signed Mrs. W.J. Chorley, and another dated 1857. The book contains recipes for puddings, custards, cakes, soups, and various meat and seafood dishes, such as beef stew, roast pig, and oyster sausages.
