Description
This volume is composed of culinary recipes for vinegar, wines, jellies, creams, and puddings; preserved crabs, eels, shrimp, and herring; and cakes, pickles, meats, fowl, soups, and preserves. The title page is engraved with a calligraphic design incorporating birds, with the written inscription "Mary Ann Waddington, Adelaide House, Enfield, 1855." This volume contains 11 leaves of blue lined paper, bound in contemporary half leather. It was written by several people, with some recipes laid in dated from 1891 to 1908.
