Description
This ledger was either owned by or compiled by Daniel W. Tuttle of Eastport, New York. The first five leaves contain handwritten recipes that have been pasted over accounts. The remainder of the volume includes wheelwright, garden, and general store accounts. There is also a sample of flowered border wallpaper. 

Recipes include: German cake, mock mince pies, sauce for pudding/plum pudding, Howard Boss donughts (sic), sponge cake, apple pudding, fruitcake, rusks, marble cake, jumbles, cream cake, English Christmas pudding, cough syrup, chow chow, chilli sauce, Ella's Christmas pudding, and thickened milk.
