Culinary recipes include mead, pickling, preserving fruit, tapioca, vinegar, and wine. There are also numerous household formulas for blacking, dyes, ink, sympathetic inks, silvering a mirror, and wood varnishes, as well as medical recipes. A 1725 sermon is written on five pages of the volume.
