Description
Stoneware jug: grey with impressed blue swags and tassels at swelling below incised bands. Thomas Commereau operated a pottery at Carlear's Hook, Manhattan, in 1802 and worked there until 1819. However, his appearance in the directories was sporadic after 1811.
