Description

Honey or all purpose jar: grey glazed redware with blue leaf trim, incised lines around body, blue loop handles and tapered sides; coggle wheel decoration. According to George H. Lukacs, author of Poughkeepsie Pottery, the use of extended handles indicates date of piece is pre-1840.
