Description

This 18th century English commonplace book contains poems, cooking recipes, home remedies, and notes on natural history and physics. The compiler gathered many of the poems from contemporary periodicals; many are by prominent period poets. Many entries are made at least partially in short-hand. The 178-page volume was flipped and the last 82 pages were written upside down.
