This 90-page volume of English and Irish recipes is signed by Elizabeth Dobson, who presumably gave the book its title (with its nonstandard spelling of "Britain") and was the book's original author. However, the book also contains additions in other hands. The book is dated 1735 by the library. It includes an index.
