This 100-page recipe book contains 133 recipes. Most of the recipes are for cakes (Lady Washington cake, tricolor), cookies, and puddings (Revere pudding, queen of puddings). Some recipes are attributed (several to "Mother"). Multiple recipes appear to be copied from the pamphlet McMonagel and Rogers Premium Fruit Flavors Cooking Recipes Middletown N.Y. Established 1868. The book includes a knitting pattern for a baby sack and a recipe for tonic pills. Some loose recipes are inserted, one dated 1893.
