Description

This recipe book of approximately 166 pages has been tentatively identified as Irish by the library. The library has assigned authorship to P. H. Dunn because a number of recipes are attributed to and signed by this individual. There is a bookplate: R. Oliver. The inside front cover is inscribed: "Mrs. Mary Denice in Abby Street, it came from Mr Mecaf ... Miss Smith is a very good child."

This book contains 135 recipes, some of which are medical. It includes three leaves of drawings showing a table set with the dishes to be served, which are labeled. There is an index.
