Amelia Donnel (ca.1808-1893) was married to Judge Charles G. Donnel (1801-1844). The couple lived in Sunbury, Pennsylvania, and had seven children. Her account book details her expenditures over the years for groceries (meat, sugar, butter, eggs, etc.), her daughters' needs, household help, and schooling. The book also includes recipes, sources of income, and other material.
