Date Details
Most of the stringers that clamp to tables appear to have been manufactured in the late 19th or early 20th centuries (300 Years of Kitchen Collectibles, Franklin 17). The stringer above, although slightly different in style, looks very similar in form and structure to the German bean cutter (manufactured by the English) in 300 Years of Kitchen Collectibles. Unfortunately, no further information was available pertaining to the "Tech" brand name or a manufacturer's name of such a product. Consequently, this bean stringer, like the others researched, probably dates back to sometime during the very late 1800's or into the early 1900's.
