Description
The Taylor Family recipe books comprise three separate volumes. Two of the volumes are approximately 40 pages in length, and one is approximately 200 pages. The books are not dated, but they appear to be have been compiled during the second half of the nineteenth century. The recipes are relatively lengthy and detailed. All are written in ink, in one hand, except for some at the end of the longer  recipe book, which are in several different hands. The books are part of the library's Taylor family papers, which are on microfilm. The recipe books appear near the end of the reel, under "Box Four."
