This 60-page English cookbook is mostly given over to recipes for desserts, cakes, and preserves. Some of the recipes are attributed. It seems likely that the cookbook originated in Brighton. Some of the persons credited for recipes are identified as from Brighton and the volume is written in a notebook bearing a Brighton stationer's label on the inside back cover.
