The Danial H. Moran Notebook is housed in folder 273 of the library's "Missouri Collection," an enormous archive described in a 96-page finding aid. The notebook includes culinary recipes for cornbread and curing hams, as well as practical recipes for such things as hair dye and solder. There are also descriptions and diagrams of mill buildings, water wheels, hoppers, and other structures and devices.
