Description

The recipe book is housed in folder 25 of the library's collection of the Beach, Webster, and Dickinson families papers. The book was originally used for accounts, some of which are still visible. Most, however, have been pasted over with recipes clipped from printed sources. The book also contains some recipes handwritten on blank pages. The visible accounts are dated in the 1820s and 1830s and both the printed and handwritten recipes are roughly in the same date range. The author of the book is unknown.
