The book Includes recipes for pickles, sauces, and preserves; for stewed, roasted, and baked meats, poultry, and fish; and for numerous cakes and biscuits. A few recipes are attributed to Lady Sophia Egerton (ca. 1730-1780) and "Mrs. Breton."
