This 140-page English cookbook, written in two or three hands, contains approximately 180 recipes. The book Includes recipes for pickles, sauces, and preserves; for stewed, roasted, and baked meats, poultry, and fish; and for numerous cakes and biscuits. A few recipes are attributed to Lady Sophia Egerton (ca. 1730-1780) and "Mrs. Breton."
