Written in a small notebook, Edgar Brewer's book contains recipes for ointments (human and animal), cider, and cured meat. Edgar Brewer (1832-1903) was a farmer in Enfield, New York. He served as the secretary for the Railroad Bonding Commission of Enfield, and was a clerk for School District No. 8 in Enfield.
